  • Additional concrete footpaths are now required by Central Highlands Regional Council. (For additional information see Summary of Post Amalgamation Changes)
  • The traffic threshold for access streets and minor collectors has been reduced for former PDSC local government area. (For additional information see Summary of Post Amalgamation Changes)
  • All 4 Councils have adopted altered requirements for rural roads. Banana Shire Council have altered the traffic thresholds for various rural road configurations. ARI design requirements have been included by some Councils

Issue No. 2 - March 2012

  • Interallotment drainage design class requirements have now been agreed by all Councils as follows:  Generally Level 2 will apply.  Level 3 inter-allotment drainage may be required by the Local Government in some instances (eg. steep slopes) (For additional information see Summary of Post Amalgamation Changes)
  • All Councils are now in agreement regarding ARI design criteria. (For additional information see Summary of Post Amalgamation Changes)
  • IFD charts adopted for different parts of local government areas
  • IFD Curves are now greatly simplified for RRC. References to QUDM updated
  • Reference to approved pipe material included (RCP and FRC)
